where does biology end and society take over?

considering i havent really thought about nature against nurture, but saw it as more of a middle ground where i saw cases for both sides... this article actually put fact into some of my thoughts.

what really struck me was the bit about the boys who were born as girls, but really were boys and then after puberty struck they were raised as boys. and since this was a part of the culture (in the dominican republic i think?) it just was a natural thing... whereas in america we havent really reached that point of seamless acceptance of other people

another interesting thing was the development and differences betwixt children that are 3, and children that are 6, and so forth and their commonly chosen gender to hang out with...

GENDER VS. SEX?

this was one of the best articles to read out of this unit, but probably because im too far out of popular culture and too narrowminded about hte narrowmindedness of barbies and kens to let stuff sit
maybe i just like people to be natural... (says the girl with the unnaturally red hair =o)

if i ever have kids one day ill just give them tux's and huskey's to play with
problem solved.

online tagging - go to university of madison's website?

intel making processors that use silicon lasers to add to moore's law really doesn't matter because the speed of the computer one day will plateau because, like height of growing human beings, its not completely a linear growth

update

last week was a weird week for applied tech because I had to miss friday.

anyway, I haven't started my research paper but I'm halfway through databasing pagnani's music in the box and thats the vast majority of the music kept in the room.

i mucho enjoyed teh tech expo last week and made some good connections for graduate school and computer science field

i also decided what i'm taking next semseter for dual enrollment and i'm going to take an intro to SE, or java class, as well as accounting.

if astroids collide with earth there isnt much i can do about it.

i finished editing my chuck's paper for pop culture and im halfway through all families are psychotic nad im wondering why it isnt a movie yet...
